Welcome to Riverstone . . . welcome to our neighborhood!
Come in to the comfort of "Riverstone" in Eagle River’s historic downtown . . . where Railroad Street and River Street meet the Eagle River . . . where vacationers (circa 1910) stepped off the train and awaited transport to a northwoods resort . . . where logs once rolled, and where the chain of lakes flows to the Eagle River. This vintage building features an 1880s oak back bar, pressed tin ceiling, vintage tiled floors, stone fireplace, base burner stove . . . and, a state-of-the-art exhibition kitchen.
We want you to feel comfortable, as you imagine yourself in a turn of the century riverside tavern and eatery. Savor the aroma of hearth breads baked before your eyes, and enjoy simple, delicious food from fun tastings to comfort classics to creative entrees . . . this is Riverstone . . . Eagle River's most unique experience.
The owners and staff at Riverstone have been awarded the northwood's only Wine Spectator Magazine's "Award of Excellence" for the past four years, and have achieved the "Award of Distinction" by Wine Enthusiast Magazine! Riverstone's staff includes many culinary graduates and interns from Nicolet College in Rhinelander. A state of the art exhibition kitchen, use of the freshest ingredients and produce, and the highest standards of presentation and taste, have drawn our team together to serve you at Riverstone.
Meet friends in our upbeat tavern for a frosted glass of draft beer as you watch our chefs at work, relax on the open air deck to toast the sun as it sets over the Eagle River, or enjoy the comfortable elegance of the river view dining room, where over 3,000 bottles of wine are on display in the glassed climate controlled wine room.
Selected as one of the nation's
most wine friendly restaurants!!
Feel at home . . . feel comfortable, have fun, and enjoy that special service you’d expect when you’re among friends. Oh! and don’t forget to take home a loaf of hearth bread.
